Bert, like many others on the Avrem team, was also born and raised in the Youngstown area.
A forty-two year, cardy-carrying member of the GCIU, Bert’s held multiple positions in steel, aluminum, and nameplate manufacturing; shipping; and has experience with electrical and low-voltage wiring, plumbing, carpentry. Bert’s a versatile member of the team and the perfect fit as our Building Manager. He also manages Avrem’s growing fleet of company vehicles and assists other team members as needed.
He lives in Poland with his wife, Lydia, and youngest son, Thomas, their black labs (and grand-dog), and spends his free time working outdoors or tinkering on woodworking projects in his garage.
